Earth Theory

Context

Earth theory is a multiplayer phone game, both PVP and PVM. The goal of the game is to choose one of the 3 types of planets that have different characteristics, to succeed in growing your planet and to compete or ally with other players to grow.

Role

UI Designer

  • I had to create a visually pleasing code, in which the players feel in a competition and at the same time enjoy the game.
  • I had to take care of the visual information so that they are captivated by the game.
  • I had to empathize with the player to know how he wants to manipulate the game.

Game Designer

  • I had to identify the key points of the game experince
  • Took part in adjusting the conceptual elements of the game, and give them their final form

Goals

  • to create a pleasant and attractive visual code
  • to categorize the information to make it easy to follow
  • to understand the perspective from which a player would interact with the

Results

Conclusion

I managed to create a spirit of competition by the use of colors, style and design.

At the same time, the planet customisation interface required most of the effort I have put into this project, as it was important to give the user the ability to intuitively modify the planets characteristics but at the same time, make it as clear as possible what are the advantages and disadvantages of every one of these changes.
